SAME Lake Michigan Post Luncheon – February 13, 2020

In a recent briefing by Ms. Lord on Jan 31 2020, she stated “we needed to consistently and clearly communicate the desired end state to build a cyber-safe, cyber-secure and cyber-resilient defense industrial base.”

DOD contractors and subcontractors now have a well-defined and relevant new objective to achieve.  Join Harry Koujaian, Principal Engineer – Technical Support Security+, CASP+, MCSE 2003, CHFI, SI BP AM R&D FLD, SIEMENS at this month’s meeting for a discussion on the role Siemens is playing in meeting these new cyber / resiliency priorities.

SAME Lake Michigan Post Luncheon – December 12, 2019

Steve Blinderman, President, Blinderman Construction, updates the group at the December 11 2019 SAME LMP Post meeting. He shared his experience at the National Small Business Conference and discussed the evolving SAME mission and direction.

Steve is a Member of the Academy of Fellows, a high honor bestowed on those have “rendered dedicated and outstanding service to the Society, military engineering, and the A/E/C profession”.

RVP Tricia A. Muxlow drove to the Dec 11 SAMP LMP Post meeting from Detroit to congratulate the post on their receiving SAME STREAMERS (recognition) for the dedicated work over the past year. Melissa Meade, Post President, received on behalf of the Post.

Steve Blinderman and Rodney Worden, long term active member of SAME, received recognition of their support and work from the RVP Tricia A. Muxlow.

Scott Jackson was recognized for his support and dedicated work in support on his work supporting the SAME LMP STEM initiatives.

And the most important part of the Dec 11 SAME LMP meeting was the support of TOYS FOR TOTS! Ken Endress, NAVFAC, and Rodney Worden, Lake County, received recognition on behalf of the Post on the ongoing support of the Marine’s Toys for Tots mission of Lake County.
